Storage

We can supply storage for your belongings in either England and France, we have storage facilities in Guildford, England and in France, the warehouse is in Villeneuve Sur Lotte, in the Bordeaux region.

As a guide, the weekly cost of storage for the contents of an average three-bedroomed house is £60 in England and £25 in France, this price difference reflects the difference in the cost of land in France compared to the South of England. When deciding on where to store, please bear in mind that the major costs of a move abroad is the cost of shipping your belongings across the channel. Before chasing to store in France, it is advisable to consider the cost of returning your shipment to England if things do not work out as expected on the continent. It may be more cost effective to use the storage facility in the UK, so that you do not have to meet the cost of shipping your belongings back to the UK.

We can store most things except flammable and perishable items.

There are no minimum or maximum time limits for leaving your belongings in storage.

Each customer's belongings are stored in separate containers, storage is regularly checked to ensure safekeeping and is insured for theft and damage through a large reputable insurance broker.

Having items placed into storage and then moved again at a later date is effectively carrying out two moves, therefore the cost of removal will reflect this.

If you require access to your belongings once they are in storage, please be aware that only accompanied visits may be made to the storage facilities. There will be a charge for accessing storage, so the easiest option is to ensure that you are only storing items that you will not need for the duration of the storage period.
